Language Lessons Some qualified language schools are located in walking distance to the VillaVerde. We maintain contact to all of them. Or would you like to take private lessons? We make contact to experienced privat language teachers. The lessons may take place in your apartment or in the guest garden area.

Capoeira Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian marcial art developed initially by African slaves in Brazil, starting in the colonial period. It is marked by deft, tricky movements often played on the ground or completely inverted. It also has a strong acrobatic component in some versions and is always played with music. Copoeira is being practised intensively in Salvador until today. It can be learned and trained at competent, partly vamous capoeira schools. Get in contact with us. Surfing Salvador´s beaches do not offer the surfing paradises like Hawaii. But there are good wafes to learn surfing.

Bodybuilding A bodybuilding studio is located at our near neigbourhood of the VillaVerde. Good daily tariffs are offered.

Boxing Also a boxing center with learning and training fascilities and a bodybuilding center is located nearby (10 minutes walk). For less than a Dollar or a Euro per day you can practise your training. Various training programs are offered and people speak English.

Pilates Pilates exercise, performed in the U.S. since the 1920s, is named after its inventor, Joseph H. Pilates. He was a boxer and dancer who also studied yoga and Zen meditation. The method encompasses more than 500 controlled, precise movements, designed to stretch and strengthen muscle without adding bulk and improve musculoskeletal function. The exercises require concentration and deep, coordinated breaths - working the body and the mind. They focus on the body's vital energy core (an equal balance of abdominal and lower back musculature) to build strength and agility in a balanced way. The exercises are performed on a padded floor mat or with special apparatus such as the Reformer, Chairs, Cadillac, Barrels, Ped-o-Pul, and Magic Circle. A Pilates-studio is located in the near neigbourhood of the VillaVerde. Individual lessens and lessons in small groups are offered, accompanied by a professional physiotherapist.
